Engrafted Word Church proudly presents:
The Nautilus Reef, VBS 2019
As summer fast approaches, be sure to mark your calendars for this year’s exciting Vacation Bible School (VBS) adventure. We would like to invite all kids ages 4 years old through 6th grade to join us Monday, June 3rd through Friday, June 7th.
This year’s theme is distractions. We must fast our attractions before they become distractions!
Each night kids will participate in lively praise and worship, theme-based crafts, and team-oriented games. Some games they can look forward to this year are Distracted Driving, All Aboard, Rock, Paper, Scissors, Run! and Paper Plate Powerball. From the smallest to the largest, every child will have a chance to play games full of strategy and friendly competition.
Here’s what you need to know at a glance:
- Ages 4 years old through 6th grade
- Monday June 3rd – Friday June 7th
- 5:45 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. nightly
- A FREE meal for every child, every night
- Praise and worship, games, crafts, activities, and more!
- Nightly prizes with extra incentives for bringing friends
- An in-house produced video following Fleet 522 as they visit The Nautilus Reef – you don’t want to miss what happens next!
In addition to all of the activities and lessons that the children will participate in or receive, they will also have the opportunity to catch up with Fleet 522, our very own Fleet of puppet animals that join forces to perform missions assigned from Command. Up until last year Fleet 522 had only journeyed through space, but then Command gave them a new territory for them to conquer: Aqua Rigel – the water planet. They discovered that navigating water is a new challenge, but one that is worth the cost.
This year we follow Fleet 522 as they visit the home of their new friend, Jules, who they met during their last expedition. Jules guides them to Nautilus Reef and the crew must accomplish their assignment: find Jules’ family! Stayed tuned as Fleet 522 completes this new assignment from Command.
More important than all of the fun activities, though, all children will be taught an age-appropriate lesson each night that will expound upon God’s commandment to us found in Joshua 1:8b: “Turn not from [the Bible] to the right hand or to the left…” In the day and age that we live in, it is very easy to become distracted by life’s demands, and even by its blessings! This year’s VBS will give your children the Biblical tools and wisdom to “keep their eyes on Jesus” (Hebrews 12:2).
